Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
In a large skillet, crumble and cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
Add the marinara sauce to the skillet with the cooked sausage and stir to combine.
In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
In a large baking dish, spread half of the pasta on the bottom, then layer with half the marinara sauce mixture.
Dollop half of the ricotta mixture over the marinara, then add a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Repeat the layering process with the remaining pasta, sauce, ricotta, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let the baked ziti cool for a few minutes before serving.
