Spoon the dough into a cookie press and shape onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Once completely cooled, decorate with icing and sprinkles if desired.
