Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang.
In a food processor, combine mixed nuts and dates until finely chopped and well mixed.
Add honey (or maple syrup), dark chocolate chips, and sea salt to the nut mixture in the food processor.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly with your hands or a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until slightly firm, but still soft to the touch.
Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment overhang and slice into squares or rectangles.
