Delicious Sweet Holidays Cupcakes for Festive Cheer

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup holiday-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a cupcake tin with liners.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  • Fill the cupcake liners about ⅔ full with the batter.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  • Once completely cooled, frost with your favorite festive frosting and add sprinkles.
