Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
  • Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and baking soda to the mixture, and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until the dough forms.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  • Place the dough balls on a lined baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
