Deliciously Savory Cheese and Spinach Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package puff pastry two sheets
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  • Spread the cheese and spinach mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Starting from one end, roll the pastry tightly into a log.
  • Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  • Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the beaten egg.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
