These Cinnamon Stuffed Pears combine warm spices with tender fruit, making them an ideal dessert for cozy gatherings or a special fall treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the pears by halving and coring them.
  • In a bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, chopped nuts, butter, honey, and vanilla until well combined.
  • Stuff each pear with the oat mixture, packing it lightly.
  • Place the stuffed pears in a baking dish and add a splash of water.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
