Delightful Green Funfetti Sheet Cake for Any Occasion

A vibrant Green Funfetti Sheet Cake combines fluffy cake with colorful sprinkles, making it an ideal centerpiece for birthdays and celebrations alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Green food coloring to taste
  • 1 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1 batch of cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 13x18-inch sheet pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
  • Add in the green food coloring until you achieve your desired shade.
  • Fold in the rainbow sprinkles gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared sheet pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Once cool, frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with additional sprinkles, if desired.
