Delightful Strawberry Pretzel Salad for Home Cooks

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped topping gently until blended.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • In another bowl, mix sliced strawberries with strawberry gelatin.
  • Spread the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
