Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate kisses

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and egg until smooth.
  3. Add the baking soda, salt, and flour to the mixture until combined.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in sugar.
  5. Place the dough balls on a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
