Instructions

  • Peel and grate the sweet potatoes using a box grater or food processor.
  • Soak the grated sweet potatoes in cold water for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain and thoroughly dry the sweet potatoes using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated sweet potatoes, chopped onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sweet potato mixture in an even layer, pressing down gently with a spatula.
  • Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown, then flip carefully.
