Fluffy Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Bagels Recipe

Fluffy Air Fryer Greek Yogurt Bagels Recipe made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder optional
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping, optional

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and optional garlic and onion powders. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Flour your work surface lightly. Transfer the dough to the surface and knead gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 8-10 inches long. Form a circle with each rope, pressing the ends together to seal.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of the bagels with the egg wash and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
  • Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer size.
  • Air fry the bagels for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the bagels from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
