Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary.
  • Add tomato sauce, water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Stir in the elbow macaroni, and cover the skillet.
  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
