Sautéed Cabbage and Kale with Garlic Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of green cabbage thinly sliced
  • 4 cups kale stems removed and roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Sauté the cabbage for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the chopped kale to the skillet and mix well.
  • Continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes until the kale is wilted.
  • Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the vegetables.
