Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup fresh or canned cranberries if using fresh, chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese, chopped cranberries, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it is slightly thinner and more pliable.
  • Cut the pastry into rectangles (about 3x5 inches).
  • Place a spoonful of the filling mixture in the center of each pastry rectangle.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling and press to seal the edges.
  • Brush each roll up with beaten egg to achieve a golden finish.
