This Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken combines tender, juicy chicken with a bold, flavorful glaze, making it an irresistible dish for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Place the chicken in a bowl or zip-lock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in the skillet to cook, discarding the remaining marinade.
  5. Cook chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice the chicken, drizzle with any remaining sauce from the pan, and garnish with parsley before serving.
